Do you own or manage a business related to the gaming hobby or know someone who does? When you sponsor HammerCon, you grow the hobby and promote your business.

Please note: Although vendors may sponsor an event, if you intend to sell wares at HammerCon, you will need to apply as a vendor instead. The costs and promotional benefits are similar but not identical. Please contact us for more information.

Sponsorship Package A

Our standard package for sponsors not intending to have a physical presence at the convention includes:

  • One 4" x 5" (half-page) ad in our printed convention program (example)
  • Listing in our Sponsors section of the HammerCon website
  • Swag bag insertion (to be provided by Sponsor)
  • A mention in our newsletter and Twitter feed

Cost: $50 CAD or $100 product donation (MSRP)

Sponsorship Package B

Our standard package for sponsors who are intending to have a physical presence at the convention includes:

  • A booth (table and chairs) in a prominent area of the convention floor
  • One 4" x 5" (half-page) ad in our printed convention program (example)
  • Swag bag insertion (to be provided by Sponsor)
  • Listing in our Sponsors section of the HammerCon website
  • A mention in our newsletter and Twitter feed

Cost: $100 CAD or $200 product donation (MSRP)

Event Sponsorship

Businesses and organizations can sponsor individual events at HammerCon. This includes:

  • A mention in our printed program and website in the event's description
  • A mention in our Twitter feed and newsletters related to the event

Cost: $30 CAD or $60 product donation (MSRP)

If you want a bigger spread in our printed program than the 4"x5" ad included in our sponsorship packages, you can purchase additional advertising space in our program for $50 CAD per half page. If you can't find what you need, email promotions@hammercon.ca and we are happy to help you.


HammerCon Policies


Payment and Applications
Payment is due in full by September 30, 2013. There are no refunds once payment has been processed. Sponsorship is not complete until application is accepted and payment is made in full. Acceptance of sponsor applications are at the discretion of HammerCon. We reserve the right to decline product donations at a given MSRP value, should the actual market value not be on par with the list price.

Set-up and Take-down Times (Sponsor Package B)
Sponsors may set-up November 1, 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. or November 2, 6:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Sponsors must notify HammerCon of their selected set-up time. Take-down time is November 3, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sponsors agree to not set-up late or take-down early. Bring your own loading and unloading equipment and strong bodies to lift.

Liability (Sponsor Package B)
Sponsors are responsible for leaving their area in the same condition as was provided. Please do not attach anything to the hotel structure. Sponsors are liable for any damage they cause to the hotel and its contents. Sponsors are responsible for oversight of their own display area. HammerCon staff and volunteers are not held liable for theft or damage to the sponsor's items before, during and after convention hours. Please ensure there is someone at your table at all times during convention hours. Sponsors are responsible for obtaining their own exhibitor insurance, if desired. HammerCon staff may ask sponsors to leave at any time and are not responsible for any actual or projected loss of income. In the very unlikely event HammerCon is cancelled or abbreviated due to circumstances beyond our control such as but not limited to fire, acts of war, terrorism, and labour unrest, HammerCon may terminate this agreement and will not be held liable for refunding fees and other expenses.

Swag, Goodies and Graphics
Sponsors should make arrangements to provide their swag before October 26, 2013. All print quality graphics should be emailed to promotions@hammercon.ca before October 10, 2013 to be included on the website and in our printed program. Additional advertising space in our program can be purchased for $50 CAD per each additional half page with any sponsor package.

Miscellaneous (Sponsor Package B)
Booth or table splitting is not permitted. One business per sponsor display. Please no illegal goods or firearms. Keep it fun!
