Friday November 4th, 2011
...it's tonight? It's tonight!
We'll be opening the doors to Friday night pre-registrants only at 5:00pm tonight, with the games starting at 7pm. We understand that some of you have jobs and lives and other nuisances to deal with, but please try to be onsite at 6:30pm at the latest! We don't want to hold up any games.
Tomorrow Saturday we'll be opening our doors to everyone at 8am, with the first game slot starting at 9am.
- $20 for all the games you can cram into a day, buy & sell privileges at the Marketplace, and your own print copy of the convention program
- $10 for the above if you're between 10-14 years old
- $5 for a Spectator Pass, if you just want to come by for a visit and see what's up. You can upgrade to a full pass for the cost difference, when you realize "hey, that game looks awesome!"
Convention program PDF
Get it here. A print copy will be waiting for you at the convention, but especially if this is your first HammerCon, take a few minutes and glance through it. Some changes have been made, some of them reflected in a print errata which will be available onsite, some of them reflected below.
HammerCon Game Marketplace
Bring your gently used items to HammerCon and have us sell them for you! Pass holders may bring games or game-related products for sale, list their own prices (price to sell!), and have us sell them to other attendees during the course of the convention. Check out more details here.
I know we have many game designers in attendance this year. If you want to bring copies of your game to sell, but have not purchased a HammerCon vendor package, please drop them off with us at the Game Marketplace. We charge a small listing fee or commission on sales, but you get to spend time playing / demoing your games rather than running a booth!
HammerCon Food Drive
Do your share to help those in need this winter season! We will have boxes from the Hamilton Food Share onsite. For every food item you donate to the Food Share, we will give you a raffle ticket for one of our door prizes! Prize draw at 6:30pm at the game registration desk.
Let's show how generous gamers can be! Here's a link to the items most needed.
Event Changes
Unfortunately the DnD 4E Living Divine intro sessions had to be cancelled due to a family emergency.
Cthulhu Cup is down to two tables due to lack of Keepers. At the time of this writing there is only one player spot left. The scenario will be for sale in the Game Marketplace after 11pm (yes, we'll take pre-orders).
The good news: Speed Gaming will feature an additional two games compared to last time we spoke, and will be a ton of fun I'm sure! We also have a few more Protospielers bringing their games (event descriptions will pop up soon).
Remember, if you have a game you'd like to play impromptu with people at HammerCon, just stop by the Game Registration desk and we'll find you a table, make a sign-up sheet, and do whatever is in our power to ensure you never stop playing games!
See you soon!
