Mercenary is an original euro-style board/card game where you control a ragtag spacecraft in the midst of an interstellar war. While the five factions propagating the conflict each have their own ideals, you are a mere mercenary for sale to the highest bidder. However, as you upgrade your ship and contract it out to one faction or another, be mindful that the fights you side on will shift the balance of power, and this will dramatically effect the scoring at game end. Often, the faction you are most interested in building your reputation with is not the faction offering the most profitable contract in the short term, or the type of contract that your ship is well-equipped to handle. Becoming the most feared mercenary in the Imperium means that to you, war is a business.

The game takes about 6-7 minutes to learn, but is difficult to master. 60-90 minutes playing time.
